where did you all buy your steel stamps , or logo stamp?
Are they costly?
thanks vern

Since I started out I have been getting my stamps custom made at Industrial Marking Products -1415 Grovenburg Rd. Delhi MI 517-699-2160. They are a local place south of Lansing, and they have been extremely good to me. Mine is a complex stamp with lots of fine double lines but once that initial template is made (which costs a bit more) I have gotten stamps made for $75 to $90 and they have lasted for many years of hard use. I am not sure how they compare to the more widely known places but they have taken care of me so well that I have never felt the need to shop around.

I have an Evers Stamp (see link above). Didn't like it at first because there is a learning as with everything. I love it now. Buy the die holder, whole setup from Evers will run you about $300. I also use a hand press to hold the die to the tang while I give a few good whacks with a 3 lb deadblow hammer.

yes they are costly, a great alternative is a good sharp hard chisel and design your own ? the japanese have been doing it for years JIM
