Hey all!

I'm pretty new to the world of knife-making, but I know a fair amount and have a little experience. I'm trying to get started out on my own, and I have been looking to buy my steel from New Jersey Steel Baron, however I need 1084 and O-1 and they seem to run out of the latter rather fast. Does anyone know of any similar suppliers who sell at least O-1 or preferably both of these steels that is on the eastern seaboard, also preferably close to the D.C area? If it's not very close, that's cool, I just need a steady supply of steel.

I have used victornet.com for O1 as well. But before you order some from them make sure you call Aldo at NJ steel baron and see what he has. He has a lot of O1 that isn't on his website and told me he could get whatever I need.
 
The best and cheapest place I've found to buy 01 is from AmtekTools. They've always been quick on shipping their Precision Ground 01 and I haven't found anyone to beat their prices. They also have a huge variety of sizes!

The 1084 I'd get from Aldo or I'd buy 1080+ from Alpha Knife Supply. I doubt you'd notice any differences in the two.
