Steel Talon?

As a Talonite Talon user, I want to say again that I would love to also have a steel Talon. While my Talon is an awesome knife, I would still like to have a steel version to knock around with. Something that I don't need to worry too much about impacting staples.

Something in D2, BG42, or 154CM would be awesome. Or even a coated carbon steel. I'd have to say, though, that if you went down to 420HC, I'd probably pass on it. While I think 420HC is a decent steel, I personally wouldn't be interested in even a Cetan-style in 420HC.

OBTW, Mr. Blonde... you still have to sharpen the Talonite Talon.

Talonite is good, but it does have its limits.

Well, I have one of Rob's Cetans in D2 and believe me, it works just great. I agree with Kodiak, a little bit of wiping down, which you'd do anyway, will be all that's needed.
I've had nothing but positive experiences with my D2 Cetan, so it's a safe bet that a production version would also work well. As a matter of fact, isn't there something brewing in Rekat's camp that fits this description?
