Does anyone know the steel type used in a standard vanguard from 1993? I heard somewhere that Buck moved to 420HC in 1994, but what was it before that?

thanks, Al

Buck used to use 440C. In 1982 they switched to 425M, in 1994 they switched to 420HC.
