Ok my memory is gone.
Seen a thread not to long ago on steel types that big lunber mills are using for their big bandsaw blades.
It's either L-6 or 15n20 or something like that.
The L-6 is easy can anyone refresh my memory on the other?

if my memory serves me correct 15n20 is the swedish version of l6

Thanks for the info.I am making knives out of large bandsaw blades and wanted to be able to say what they were made of.

15n20 is the bandsaw blade sold by udeholm steel from sweden.
The l6 is also bandsaw steel form the us makers..
both are great steels
