Steeling a knife

I think the "Razor's Edge Guide to Sharpening" has pictures of before and after steeling in it. Joe Talmadge has this book you might want to drop him an email about it.

Thanks for the link, Clay. Cliff I have Juranitch's book and I saw no microscopic pictures of blade edges. There were some cuts made in paper of dull scissors and sharpened and steeled scissors.
 
If you want to se some AWESOME pictures of edges AND stones done on an electron microscope, check out the book by Leonard Lee (it's called Sharpening Basics or something like that.) I found a copy at my local library. Those pictures are down right AMAZING!!
