Hi, almost a year ago I received this blade from a seller here on bladeforums. He neglected to mention the issue with the blades edge. Then when I received it and asked him to refund my money, he ignored me. No response at all. I am looking to get $old PayPal f&f or Zelle for this knife but you will need to have it sharpened. My price reflects this need. Comes with cloth and zipper pouch. Everything else is fine on it. Just the edge needs attention. See photos.

Having a bit of trouble seeing the problem, is it just one portion of the edge that's rolled over? Any evidence this was dropped and that's from blade hitting the spine? Sorry that happened, real bummer!! Beautiful knife though.

Looks like classic blade wrap to me. I have many knives even customs that display this. It's when the blade gets snapped closed instead of guiding it down. The blade edge is hitting the bump where the back spring is made wider to accommodate the pin. If you match the pin placement with where the problem area is you will see the tell-tale clue. If it's only rolled there it's from the backspring. A sharpening or two in my experience usually cures the problem.

Definitely, should be a little scar on the inside of the spring if that's the culprit! I've had that happen from dropping a slipjoint, chipped instead of rolled but close enough!

Didn't even consider the drop on the spine of the knife that would cause the impact to insert the blade when it wouldn't blade wrap on its own through regular closing the knife by snapping shut. Good point D Docscoot

NathanSr NathanSr sorry didn't turn this thread into a full blown investigation. The knife detective lol 😆

If this is still available I'm interested. I can't PM you as I'm not longer a gold member, but I will leave a visitor message and you can also email me at mbplitt@gmail.com
