Gentlemen:

For your consideration is this lugged double guard, subhilt camp knife I call the Battle Chopper. The 6 1/2" blade was ground on a 36" diameter platen for a nice flat - concave effect while the primary edge is convex ground for a robust edge. Some of the toughest stuff on the planet, CPM 3V was selected for its edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The area in front of the guard is large enough under the ricasso to comfortably choke up on the knife and maintain a secure grip. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it," PM, or email gets it. $450 delivered. International shipment will require additional postage. Paypal payment preferred to my account tksteingass@frontier.com. Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening.

V/R,

TK

Bet that one took a few belts to finish out. Great looking knife.

Thanks Kirk: You know, it costs a mint to make one of these out of 3V - high austenitizing temperature, triple draws at 1000 degrees (electric bill), it costs four times what 1095 costs ($2/inch vs $.51=/inch) and with Vanadium Carbides at a Knoop Hardness four steps lower than a diamond, it eats belts like candy. However, if you want edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, you simply can't beat it. The clients that want a severe duty knife usually ask for 3V.

This is one of the nicest pieces I have seen here. Looks beautiful, and designed to work.

Thats a bargain for just the craftsmanship. Beautiful knife TK.
