Gentlemen:
For your consideration is this Presentation Grade Bird and Trout in premium Desert Ironwood Burl/W-2. This is a knife that can serve a triple duty: Bird and Trout; Caper; EDC, so, you guys that are in dutch with your wives, point this out to them.
The .250" blade is deeply hollow ground with an 8" wheel, hand-rubbed to 2000 grit and etched to reveal a vivid hamon. The length of the ricasso is sized to put the index finger underneath - the thumb serrations are placed so the user can comfortably choke up on the blade for close in control. The tang extends 2/3 of the way into the handle and is set with G/flex marine grade epoxy and a 3/32" stainless pin. The top of the spine is rounded from blade tip to the front of the thumb serrations. A copper spacer compliments the Desert Ironwood burl. No sheath yet so you can specify right or left hand. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it," PM, or email gets it. $375 delivered CONUS. Paypal preferred to tksteingass@frontier.com. This knife is listed on my website. Thanks for viewing and your comments are appreciated.
