Gentlemen:

For your consideration is this Presentation Grade Bird and Trout in Koa/W-2. The Koa has been stabilized by K&G - it is old growth Koa with extremely tight curls - it is Exhibition Grade. The handle was hand-rubbed to 2500 grit and all pores filled with TruOil finish - it is like glass. The blade is deeply hollow ground on an 8" wheel - it's been hand rubbed to 2000 grit and etched to reveal a vivid hamon. The bottom of the ricasso is sized so that you can safely choke up on the blade and your thumb will naturally rest on the serrations for detail work with this knife. The spine is rounded from the tip to in-front of the thumb serrations - the blade has a distal taper. No sheath yet so you may specify right or left hand. This knife is sized to fill double duty as a Bird and Trout or EDC. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it," PM, or email gets it. $400 delivered CONUS. Paypal preferred to tksteingass@frontier.com. This knife is also listed on my website. Thanks for viewing and your comments are appreciated.

Very, very nice. I really like bird and trout style knives and this is one of the nicest I have seen.

Gotta love the plunge of a hollow grind on quarter inch stock. Nice one.

You need to get some sleep TK . There is another world out there outside of the shop , it is in your back yard ,

Damn another nice piece .

always love your work. really like this design along with your last hunter posted as I am a avid deer and elk hunter. Plan to get one of each as I save funds. awesome skill you have and it shows in your knives...

That is another beauty, Tim. I'm always impressed by your tapered tangs and other attention to detail.

I'll take it
