Gentlemen:

For your consideration is my Black Thunder camp knife in 1075 and Gabon Ebony. This is my first knife out of 1075 and I was pleased with how vivid the hamon presented itself - the blade was hand rubbed to a 400 grit working finish and etched. When I make a Black Thunder in stainless I use black micarta but with a hamon line, black wood like this Gabon Ebony seems a better fit. The ricasso bottom is rounded and the deeply machined thumb grooves provide a comfortable grip when choking up on the blade. The knife is .200" at the ricasso and was flat ground to .040" then a convex edge ground to 11 micron. I haven't made a sheath yet so you may specify right or left. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it" gets it. $310 plus $18 shipping - Paypal payment preferred to my account tksteingass@frontier.com Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening.

V/R,

TK

Wow. I'm glad I just saw this. I've already bought my self too many Christmas presents. I love it.
