Gentlemen:
For your consideration is this bowie in W-2/Premium Sambar Stag. The stag roll handle is quite large and will fit a large hand nicely. The tang extends all the way through the handle and is secured at the butt cap - the handle was hollowed out and filled with G/flex marine grade epoxy. Both the copper spacer and stainless rear spacer are coined. The clip is hollow ground and sharpened on this model while the major grinds were satin finished with 400 grit pull strokes. The butt is covered with a domed stainless cap. I took this knife out and hammered away on an oak log with it to determine if the character lines in the stag behind the guard were going to be a problem - they didn't change so I'm confident in this bowie's performance.
