Gentlemen:

For your consideration is my Camp Master in W-2 with a vivid hamon. The blade is full flat ground to .030" with a convex edge ground in.....the convex edge was then taken to 2000 grit and buffed with a nine micron belt loaded with green chrome compound. The blade was hand sanded to 2000 grit and lightly etched to reveal a vivid cloud hamon with lots of ghosting and character. The scales are Norfolk Pine cones cast in an acrylic polymer substrate......very pretty and set off by the red liners. The handle is sized and worked for comfortable use with great ergonomics. The solder line for the pinned guard is straight and true with no pinholes. The RH sheath holds the knife securely with a cam that "pops" in both directions. Superb fit and finish. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it" gets it. $335 plus $18 shipping. Paypal preferred to account tksteingass@frontier.com. Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening.

V/R,

TK

Wow, that is a beauty! I really like the Camp Master I just got from you w/ the spalted maple. I have a knife from Backwoods that has the cone/acrylic scales and they are fantastic. I really want to buy this knife, but I have to close on a stupid house in a month

Mr. Steingass, keep these camp masters coming!!
I'm holdin out for another spalted maple version, too slow last week!

That's the first time I have seen that type of handle material before, looks real sharp; pun intended ;)

Very nice TK! The PineCone handle in complimentary colours of Blue and Gold is especially beautiful!!

Beautiful work as always... I swear one of these days I'll be able to afford your work, and I'll be extremely happy when that day comes.

Thanks to all for the positive feedback - it's appreciated :)

Ok, I've been staring at this for 12 hours (well, off and on) and since no one's bought it I guess I will...

I really shouldn't, but I'll take it :)
