Gentlemen:

For your consideration is this Deep Woods Hunter in CPM-154/Stabilized Spalted Hackberry. The hollow ground blade and the furniture have been hand rubbed to a satin 600 grit finish. The Spalted Hackberry came from an exceptional block that I slabbed out, dried, and had stabilized by K&G. This is a medium sized knife, nearing the EDC range yet big enough to field dress a deer. The tang is highly tapered to .005" at the butt of the handle. The solder joint is true with no pinholes. No sheath yet so you may specify right or left hand. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it," PM, or email gets it. $310 delivered CONUS. Paypal preferred to tksteingass@frontier.com. Thanks for viewing and your comments are appreciated.

V/R,

TK

Damn, That's a beauty! That spalted hackberry almost looks as if it's a "printed" on pattern the way how it has all that very fine grain flowing perpendicular to the spine, as well as the 'gloss' finish... Looks surreal! What a great overall looking knife, awesome work as always, TK! :)

That is absolutely stunning. The only issue is....how is someone supposed to hunt with it without feeling guilty for using something so nice:)!
