Gentlemen:

For your consideration is this Presentation Grade Defiant Bowie in Bastogne Walnut/1075. The Bastogne Walnut is exhibition grade with 100% crotch flame figure - it has wonderful chatoyance when the light hits it.....it doesn't get any better than this. Deep, hand rubbed Tru-Oil finish to a satin luster. The 1075 recurve blade is convex ground with a sharpened, hollow ground swedge. The blade was hand rubbed to 2000 grit and etched to reveal a very active hamon. The tang extends 2/3 of the way into the handle and is set with G/flex marine grade epoxy and a 1/4" mosaic pin. With a ricasso thickness of .275" and a convex blade grind, this bowie is built for hard use. Pictures don't do this bowie justice. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it," PM, or email gets it. $850 delivered CONUS. Paypal preferred to tksteingass@frontier.com. This knife is also listed on my website. Thanks for viewing and all comments are welcome.

Absolute beauty, I like every detail on that knife.
The photograhic presentation is terrible sir.

Awesome workmanship as usual TK, I love the Bastogne walnut handle.

Very nice. Your usual standard of work.
You must be feeding the elves Blue Buffalo or some premium brand to get work out of them like that!

Great design and execution. That piece of wood and the multi piece guard put it over the top.

You never fail to leave me speechless. Jaw dropping perfection TK.

Truly stunning TK. I have never been a fan of mosaic pins but now I know that's because I'd never seen them used properly! Holy smokes! Got to be one of my favorite blades I've seen!

MacWasil - Thanks for the kind words on the bowie - I agree with you on the photography. This was a tough one to photograph. I'm going to try some outdoor shots tomorrow. :)
