For sale is my TK Steingass Destroyer in CPM-154. This was purchased directly from TK and has remained as received; uncarried, unsharpened and unused. This knife does have some scratches on the blade that can be seen but not felt and did not show up in the pictures. Here are the specs:
- CPM 154 Steel, Heat Treat to 60-61 RC
- Thickness .205 at Ricasso, Blade Height 2
- Overall Length 12.75, Blade Length 8
- Full Convex Ground and 400 Grit Belt Finished
- 416 Stainless Furniture, Corby Rivets
- Pinned and Soldered Single Guard
- Black Canvas Micarta Handles
- Red Liners on a Tapered Tang
From TK: This chopper is a handful without approaching machete size and the CPM 154 will stand up to any abuse you might ask for it in camp. The 2" tall blade was full convex ground from the spine to near zero, taken to 9 micron at the edge, then buffed with green chrome and is hair popping sharp. The spine is rounded for batoning and has machined thumb grooves for a positive purchase. The blade has a 400 grit belt satin finish.
