Gentlemen:

For your consideration is my Destroyer subhilt chopper at a reduced price. This was my personal knife and it has seen use. I've cleaned it up and sharpened it and it's ready to see more service. The flat ground blade was hand rubbed to 2000 grit and etched to show a vivid hamon......from the pictures you can see it has a lot of character with clouds and ghosting. No sheath yet so the buyer can specify right or left hand sheath. The last one of these I sold for $450 - I'm going to knock $100 off and sell it for $350 plus $18 shipping......international sales will require additional postage I'm sure. The first "I'll take it" gets it. Paypal preferred to my account tksteingass@frontier.com Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening.

Best regards,

TK

Terry, I must say "That knife is a holy grail for me". I'll have one someday.

Mike:

Payment received - thank you! This knife is sold.

Well fellas, I tried something different and ended up destroying this Destroyer. From the original pictures you may notice a less than tight joint behind the subhilt. It bugged the hell out of me so I tried to fix it. A knifemaker's trick is to peen the adjoining metal to tighten the joint. It didn't get any better so I got the bright idea to open up the area with a drill bit, put in a stainless plug and regrind the back of the subhilt. Well, it sort of got away from me and this one is now FUBAR. (picture)

Sorry shaving sharp.....there will be more Destroyers in the future. Refunded in full.
