Gentlemen:
For your consideration is my interpretation of the Loveless Dropped Hunter in damascus and Mammoth Ivory. The damascus was supplied by Doug Ponzio in Crazy Lace Pattern - I selected it as a pattern matching the Mammoth Ivory. The deeply hollow ground blade and the spine were hand rubbed to 2000 grit, etched, then cold blued. If you look real close my maker's mark is just below the spine......I wanted this one a bit subdued. The Mammoth Ivory scales match perfectly with no cracks. The stainless guard is fully machined (not bolsters) and it, along with the Corby rivets and lanyard tube were polished to a mirror luster. The solder joint is smooth and true with no pinholes. Superb fit and finish. I was thinking of having it engraved but I'm trying to keep the costs down on this one after all the materials I put into it. I have not made a sheath yet so you may specify right or left hand. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it" gets it. $625 plus $25 shipping. Paypal payment preferred to my account tksteingass@frontier.com. Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening.
Best regards,
TK
