Gentlemen:
For your consideration is this Loveless Style Dropped Hunter in stabilized California Buckeye Burl/1095. The hollow grinds are in the temper blue condition I built the knife this way because nothings prettier than a temper blue (to me anyway). The knife was differentially heat treated with clay, ground/finished in the as quenched condition, then the hollow grinds were taken to 400 grit, buffed, and finally the knife was double tempered as usual. The hollow grinds are the prettiest shade of blue and if you look at it them in the right light you can see the hamon line. Theres a white reflection on the blade from my shadow box frame which I purposely left in the picture. Now, any bluing is a fragile finish, but if you just use this knife for dressing deer and keep it oiled, itll look real nice for a very long time. You can always touch up any scratches with Oxpho Blue or you can let it age with grace like I have.
The flats are hand rubbed to 400 grit. Includes a RH Loveless style sheath. I hope you like it! The first Ill take it, PM, or email gets it. $300 plus $18 shipping. Paypal preferred to my account tksteingass@frontier.com Makers lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening.
