Gentlemen:

For your consideration is the EDC sized hunter in CPM-154/Sambar Stag. This hunter is every day carry size at 7 1/2" OAL - my full sized hunters go at 8 1/4' - 9" OAL. The hollow ground blade was ground to .015" with 15 degree secondaries making it a real slicer......the primary hollow grinds were taken nearly up to the spine with no overshoot. The premium Sambar stag has lots of bark, no pith, and each side matches exactly. Includes a RH vertical pouch sheath which holds the knife securely yet draws easily. Superb fit and finish. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it," PM, or email gets it. $475 delivered CONUS. Paypal to tksteingass@frontier.com or USPS money order accepted. Also listed on my website. Thanks for viewing and your comments are welcome.

V/R,

TK

Thanks for the feedback John - don't know about being sold by sunrise though. This is a tough time of the year to sell knives: after Christmas and before the tax checks arrive. :grumpy:

.

Tim, this is my favorite if the year so far! Great work. If I may, why is this withdrawn? Keeping it for yourself?

I think the thong tube and a couple of pins are a bit buggered on the ends but am not positive. My absolute favorite knives are ones with good stag. Warm to the hand when its cold. Anyways love your work and unfortunately for me I can't afford your knives at this time but that will change hopefully. keepem sharp

I've looked as hard as I could and cannot find anything at all wrong with the absolutely beautiful blade.... The tubes and pins are made to fit the natural contours of the handle. I don't know looks like another flawless Steingass to me. Beautiful...

I thought it was an inside joke... I guess not.

Shane: I'm putting it back up for sale, now that four inappropriate comments posted on this thread by newbies have been removed by the moderator. (thank you Mr. Moderator:))

Longbow: The thong tube has been peened to follow the stag contour then chamfered - the pins aren't buggered up :)

I've done it both ways - fitting the contour by peening or sanding the tube/pins flush with the outside of the contour. The latter method may leave sharp edges - I decided to follow the contour by peening/chamfering the pins and tube.
