Gentlemen:

For your consideration is this Tomahawk Run Bowie in W-2/Black Linen Micarta. The blade was hand rubbed to 1500 grit and etched to bring out the vivid hamon. This is a rather meaty bowie with a ricasso thickness of .260" - the swedge is almost sharp on this bowie. I like the size and heft as it can ably perform the duties of a fighter, camp knife, or chopper. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it," PM, or email gets it. $675 delivered CONUS. Paypal preferred to tksteingass@frontier.com. This bowie is also listed on my website. Thanks for viewing my work and your comments are welcome.

V/R,

Thanks for the feedback - you're correct, not many full tapered tang, double guard bowies out there. The problem lies in making the handle proportioned correctly with the blade and getting the double guard over the handle. Most bowies are hidden tang, frame handled, or have a single guard. I like to step away from the pack. :D

Beautiful job! This does have a unique style to it. It very much reminds me of a mix between Bob Loveless (handle & guard) and Sam Lurquin (blade & hamon), mixed with a bit of Steingass of course :D ;)

Great work TK, your work really reminds me of what Bob Loveless used to make.

Thanks Tom - good to see you back :)

Thanks for the feedback Paul - interesting that you saw Lurquin in the design of the blade. I thought his style has more of a lowered point :)

I think It must mainly be the recurve along with that wild hamon that brought him to mind. Once again, very nice work! :)
