I love both knives !!! :) probably partial to the Man Knife as looking at your hollow grinds makes me a little ill, probably do to the fact I don't think I'll ever be able to hollow grind.. Never tried it as I know its really hard and truth be told its hard enough for me to walk adn chew gum so I'll stay in my comfort zone with the basics :D

I am glad this thread popped up, I have learned a few things here today. Yes I did notice that the heat treated knife did look different, The info on the soldering is one that I will be using from now on. Thanks so much for the WIP.
 
Just as all the knives I've gotten from you TK, this is another piece of pure class--I remain jealous and envious of you and your talent brother!!!
 
thanks for the tip on the solder machining tool, will have to try that.
also like how you lay the 1/4" lengths of solder bead
also noticed several times you mentioned the needs for cleanliness :-)
 
this is awesome, worth a second look. now we can steal his techniques lol :D happy new year !
 
Great WIP. Perfect timing. My next goal is to make a knife with a guard. Thank you for posting, and re-sharing this!
