Gentlemen:

For your consideration is my interpretation of the Loveless Chute in CPM-154 with a hidden tang. I make these both full tang and hidden tang - this is the very first HT model I've made. The butt of knife is made of 7075 T6 aluminum - the same stuff they use for aircraft landing gear. By using this material the balance is correct for the knife - neutral balance is just behind the double guard. The clip is sharpened on this knife - I can dull the clip edge to make it legal in some states at the buyer's request. The mirrored grinds and 600 grit satin furniture and flats makes for a nice presentation IMHO. Flawless solder joint with superb fit and finish. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it" gets it. $375 plus $18 shipping. Paypal preferred to my account tksteingass@frontier.com. Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening.

V/R,

TK

Amazing knife! Congrats on the new house, that is a beautiful area. Will you be moving to Maine, or will it be a vacation home?

Thanks Allen - yep, we're moving to Maine. I've retired from my day job and it's time to be near the grandkids.

Great! knife TK, Sounds like a great place you have there. Enjoy your retirement and I guess maybe we will see more of your cool knives now that you quit your day job. Maybe one day there will be another Steingass knife maker comin up. That would be a good thing.

really liking the scagel like handle on this one, the flawless blade and the perfect soldering of the guard

Man thats a nice knife, I really like the color combo on that handle. Congrats on the retirement and good luck with your move.

Maybe a collaboration piece will be in order with your new neighbor, Lamont Coombs! Beauty of a knife!
