Steingass Mud Flats Bowie **SOLD**

Gentlemen:

For your consideration is this Mud Flats Bowie in W-2/English Walnut. This is a rather beefy bowie with a ricasso thickness of .330" and a blade length of nearly 10". The hidden tang extends about 80% of the way into the handle and is set with a 3/32" stainless pin and G-Flex marine grade epoxy. The premium English Walnut has a hand rubbed Truoil finish. The flat ground blade has a slight recurve - the slightly curved swedge has been hollow ground then sharpened. The blade was hand rubbed to 1500 grit, etched and polished to reveal a vivid hamon - there's some nice ghosting along with the ashi. I hope you like it!
