Gentlemen:

For your consideration is this bowie in W-2/Royal Walnut. The Royal Walnut is Exhibition Grade with extremely tight, 100% fiddleback figure on both sides. I selected this wood from a 10 year old gunstock blank I paid $500 for and I have plenty more! The flat ground blade was hand rubbed to 1200 grit and etched/polished to reveal a vivid hamon line in a sawtooth pattern. The swedge is almost sharp on this bowie while the top of the spine and bottom of the ricasso are rounded. The tang extends 2/3 of the way into the handle and is set in G/flex marine grade epoxy and a 1/8" stainless pin. The handle has four coats of Truoil with the last coat left in the gloss state. The black micarta spacer is both coined and fullered. The upper guard sweeps forward to the tip and extends about 1/2" above the rounded spine. At .200" thick at the ricasso, this is a fast and light bowie. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it," PM, or email gets it. $675 delivered CONUS. Paypal preferred to tksteingass@frontier.com. This bowie is also listed on my website. Thanks for viewing and your comments are welcome.

I cringed when I read "sawtooth", thinking sawteeth along the spine. I hate 'em. So you got me with the title. Nice clean work as always, TK.
