Gentlemen:

For your consideration is this Short Bowie in Honduran Rosewood Burl/1075. This is a stout bowie with a heavy, .335" thick ricasso - consequently, the bowie is blade heavy with the neutral balance at the ricasso. Along with the thick blade and the full-tapered tang, this bowie is well suited for bushcraft and chopping work. The Honduran Rosewood burl has very nice spalting in the rear of the handle. The blade and the handle were hand-rubbed to 2500 grit - the blade was etched to reveal a vivid hamon with LOTS of activity. The swedge is perfectly centered and is almost sharp. No sheath yet so you may specify RH, LH or Cross-Draw. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it," PM, or email gets it. $475 delivered CONUS. Paypal preferred to tksteingass@frontier.com. This knife is also listed on my website. Thanks for viewing and your comments are welcome.

V/R,
