Gentlemen:

For your consideration is this single guard Bowie in W-2/Stabilized Spalted Maple. This Bowie started out as a round nose chopper that wouldn't sell either here or my website, so it magically transformed itself into a hard-use Bowie through the efforts of my Elf Crew. :D Hand rubbed finish to 400 grit pull strokes. Superb fit and finish. The swedge on this bowie is ground to zero with no secondary bevel. No sheath yet so you may specify R or L. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it," PM, or email gets it. $275 delivered CONUS. Paypal preferred to tksteingass@frontier.com. Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening. Thanks for viewing my work and your comments are welcome.

.250" W-2 stock
HT to Rc 59-60
11" OAL
6" Satin finish blade
1 7/8" Blade height
Flat grind primary/25 degree grind secondary
Stabilized spalted maple scales
Tapered tang with red liners
Thumb serrations on spine
Zero degree sharpened swedge
416 Stainless furniture
Pinned/soldered single guard
8-10 oz sheath (R or L)

Superb!
I had to cut the tip of my "click to purchase" finger in order to resist to this one.

Tk that is just a beautiful blade......I think Bob Ross and the Joys of Painting called these "Happy Little Accidents!!"

I'll take this, Tim. Please confirm if still available.

Wasn't very moved by the original blade shape, but I like what you've done with this.

TK, that is one of the most beautiful knives that i have seen lately. Your work is perfectly done sir. I always look forward to seeing what you will post up next. Will you be at the Blade show ? I would love to see more of your work.

Brummie: It's yours sir. Right or left hand sheath?

Thanks Scott - I appreciate the kind words. No Blade this year, maybe next.

One day I will be the fastest "I'll take it" on the forums, and I will own one of your masterpieces. Beautiful blade TK. I like it this one and your camp knife with a hamon the best.

Thanks very much - hope it works out for you ! :)

Wow Tim, this is outstanding. I know this piece kind of came about on accident, but I love it. Is there anyway you would make this pattern again? I can't tell you how disappointed I am that I checked this forum at 2:30pm and not 3:30 yesterday...

Buckberg: You read my mind - after handling and looking at this Bowie, I decided to add it to my line, so not to worry. The next one I'm making might have a hamon and stabilized Koa scales, selling for $350 plus shipping. What do you think?
