Gentlemen:

For your consideration is this subhilt bowie in W-2 and Koa. The blade was flat ground to .030" then 25 degree bevels were applied. The Hawaiian Koa handle has very distinct chatoyance and lots of tight figure......the pictures don't show it well but there are red liners in this knife. The hidden tang extends 3/4 of the way into the handle, is set with G-Flex epoxy and drilled under clamping pressure prior to setting the 1/8" pin.....very stable and strong. Three coats of Truoil finish have been applied leaving a deep, soft, satin luster. The blade was hand rubbed to 2000 grit and lightly etched to shop a very distinct hamon. The double guard is soldered in place after it was driven on - the solder joint is even and free of porosity. I have not made the sheath as of yet, so you may specify right or left hand. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it" gets it. $475 plus $18 shipping. Paypal payment preferred to my account tksteingass@frontier.com Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening.

Best regards,

TK
