Gentlemen: For your consideration is this subhilt bowie in Koa and 1095. This is the tightest Koa I've encountered to date and it's dazzling. The flat ground 1095 blade was hand rubbed to 2000 grit then 400 grit pull strokes applied.....this will be an easy bowie to keep looking like new yourself. The bevels are a robust 25 degree angle with a 220 grit edge. With the distal taper and tapered tang, the balance point for this bowie is just in front of the double guard, making this bowie just a little blade heavy, where I like it for this type of knife. The full tang design gives me the confidence that this knife will serve you well as a chopper also. The bottom of the ricasso is rounded and large enough for the user to choke up on the blade comfortably without worrying about being cut. The sides of the subhilt are scalloped for a comfortable grip. Superb fit and finish. I haven't made the sheath yet so the buyer can specify right or left. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it" gets it. $575 plus $21 shipping/insurance. Paypal payment preferred to my account tksteingass@frontier.com. Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening.

V/R,

TK

Thanks for all the positive feedback gentlemen - it's very appreciated! :)

Just a stunning knife! You don't see the finish on some $1k+ knives that are on this one! I am lucky to own one of TK's sub-hilts and can attest to the quality!

Thanks a bunch Tony! Your assessment is accurate - my knives are "value priced" as stated many times by knife purveyor Les Robertson - I know $575 is a lot of money, but it's a bargain when compared with other knives in this class. Glad you like your Battle Bowie.
