Gentlemen:

For your consideration is my Survival Dagger in CPM D2. The handle scales are made of horse stall mat material - it provides increased grip in wet conditions.......very durable stuff since it is used to support 1200 lb. horses. The convex tip is built up to prevent breakage which is common with most dagger designs - it also aids in penetration. Neutral balance is just behind the double guard where it's supposed to be. The flared lanyard tubes in the handle are seated beneath the surface so they don't cut into your hand. They also can be used to lash the dagger to a stick for a field spear. The skull crusher is triple pinned and the lanyard hole is chamfered. The dagger was taken to 400 grit and the hollow grinds finished in a fine scotchbrite satin luster. The cutting edges were hollow ground on a two inch wheel to .040" then 25 degree bevels applied with 240 grit belt for toothy, robust cutting edges - it won't slice hair off your arm but it will cut and chop all day long. The sheath may be worn either right or left. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it" gets it. SOLD plus $18 shipping CONUS. Paypal payment preferred to my account tksteingass@frontier.com. Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening.
