Gentlemen:

For your consideration is this hunter in Raindrop pattern damascus. The damascus is the first I've made - the random pattern raindrop blade has lovely chatoyance. I chose the Musk Ox horn handle material because it resembles the pattern in the blade. The fittings have been mirror polished then heat blued - the guard is stainless. The knife easily takes down with the supplied tool. No sheath yet so you may specify right or left hand. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it," PM, or email gets it. SOLD delivered CONUS. PayPal preferred to tsteingass@yahoo.com. Thanks for viewing and your comments are welcome.

V/R,

TK

Wow! Stunning knife and congrats on your first Damascus.

Thanks for the feedback Carl and Scott - you two always have a kind word and I appreciate it :)

What a beauty! If it were just about anyone else I wouldn't believe that it was a "first" damascus! The extra attention to make it a takedown just tops it off.

Amazing piece of work! I don't know if I have seen heat blueing on a knife. It looks wonderful.

Thank you Sir! It's all in the metal prep - bringing the pieces to mirror finish, with dedicated de-greasing prior to heating, yields a rich blue color in the items.

Sent you an e-mail , did you get it . This answered my question .

Gorgeous knife as usual TK. Just out of curiosity, what's the purpose of a take down knife?

Thank you Bellero! Some fellas like a takedown knife: 1) To disassemble and maintain like a rifle, 2) To see how the knife is constructed, 3) To break down into a smaller package, and 4) Tinker Toy.

Hi Jack! Good hearing from you! No, I did not get an email from you. I have not been posting many knives lately - after the last two articles in Blade and Knives Illustrated I've been swamped with orders and trying to make good on my delivery quotes. As a result, I haven't visited the Knives for Sale forum much lately. Besides, this is the time of the year when buyers are saving for Blade and aren't buying much here in the forum. What email did you use to contact me?

SOLD from my website - thanks for the kind words fellas
