Gentlemen:

For your consideration is this takedown hunter in 1095/Black G-10. This takedown is made without pins - fitup at the tang and G/flex marine grade epoxy prevent the handle and parts from rotating. Takedown fitting is a 1/4" allen head that is easily replaced if you lose it. The dark spacer is coined/fullered mild steel that has been blued. The spine is rounded with fine thumb serrations. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it," PM, or email gets it. $425 delivered CONUS. PayPal preferred to tsteingass@yahoo.com. Thanks for viewing and your comments are appreciated.

V/R,

TK, quick question... you wrote " This takedown is made without pins - fitup at the tang and G/flex marine grade epoxy prevent the handle and parts from rotating."

So are the parts epoxy'd together? Or is it a simple matter to unscrew the takedown fitting all that is holding it together? (so that one could disassemble to marvel at the construction).

Rob: The knife still disassembles as pictured so that one can marvel at the construction. The metal parts are fit closely to the tang. The handle is fit closely to the tang by putting release agent on all the parts/tang, putting G/flex in the handle, reassemble and let harden. The release agent allows disassembly of all the parts after the epoxy hardens so now the handle too is fitted to the tang and will not rotate.
