Gentlemen:
For your consideration is this vest bowie in premium stabilized Koa/W-2. Rather than make a $900 full size bowie, I thought someone might appreciate a smaller version as a utility or concealed carry......plus, the smaller version is easier to sell!
The flat ground blade was hand rubbed to 2000 grit and etched to reveal a vivid hamon. The premium stabilized Koa was supplied by the honorable John Doyle - the handle has bold curls and vibrant chatoyance that can only be appreciated in person. The hidden tang extends 3/4 of the way into the handle and is set with a 3/32" stainless pin and G Flex marine grade epoxy. The swedge is ground to almost sharp. No sheath yet so you may specify right or left hand. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it," PM, or email gets it. $375 delivered CONUS. Paypal preferred to tksteingass@frontier.com.
