Gentlemen:

For your consideration is this vest bowie in W-2/Fiddleback Claro Walnut. Intense fiddleback figure in the Claro Walnut - all pores filled with seven hand rubbed coats of Truoil. The handle has an heirloom fit where it meets the coined copper spacer. This is a VERY light bowie in spite of the double guard - the blade is both hollow ground with a radical distal taper while the spine is rounded. Neutral balance is under in the center of the guard where it should be.

The handle is sculptured for a fit that melts into the hand. The hollow ground blade was hand rubbed to 1200 grit, etched and polished to reveal a vivid hamon. The horizontal sheath can be worn right hip or right cross draw. The 4140 double guard is blued - the solder joint is perfectly executed with no pinholes. The tang extends 3/4 of the way into the handle and is set with G/flex marine grade epoxy. I hope you like it! The first I'll take it," PM, or email gets it. $750 delivered CONUS. PayPal preferred to tsteingass@yahoo.com. Thanks for viewing and all comments are welcome.
