Gentlemen:

For your consideration is a Wharncliffe style EDC made from a Nicholson Handy File - the steel is W-1. The serrations are shown on the flats - first cut on the maker's side, double cut on the obverse side of the blade. The blade is deeply hollow ground on a 2" wheel to 220 belt finish. The serrated flats are left in the temper blue state......my maker's mark is buried in the serrations. The finish on the premium Turkish Walnut handle is CA - rubbed, steeled, then buffed to a shiny finish. The right hand horizontal sheath can also be worn cross draw or behind the back. Three thumb serrations are machined into the spine. A very handy EDC I believe. I hope you like it! The first "i'll take it," PM, or email gets it. $150 delivered. Paypal preferred to my account tksteingass@frontier.com

Ray: Thanks for the feedback - seems fitting to let this handy tool that was worn out finish its life in beauty. Sort of like going to heaven after a good life, eh? :D

That file must have had some good karma to be re-born as something so gorgeous!
