Gentlemen:
Some of the things I like about making knives is trying new techniques and design enhancements. This subhilt chute knife was made with quite a few changes to my technique, primarily using more hand work. I also added lashing holes to the guard and a subhilt to earlier versions. On the negative side, when you try new things, sometimes you get burned as I did on this knife. The bottom lashing hole is off - center, a mistake I won't make again.....consequently, I can't ask the $750 I would normally get for a knife of this caliber. I'll bet one wouldn't notice the offset during inspection unless you pointed it out to them, but I know it's there. The remainder of the knife is perfect with superb fit and finish. Excellent figure and chatoyance in this stabilized Koa. $375 delivered CONUS. The first "I'll take it," PM, or email gets it. Paypal preferred - my account is tksteingass@frontier.com. Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening. Thanks for viewing my work and your comments are welcome.
