Rare 4 bar composite damascus bowie blade, two billets of slow twist in the center with two billets of tighter twist on the top and bottom. This is without a doubt the most beautiful damascus I have ever seen.

This knife was purchased in 2004. The damascus was forged by Adam Steketee, the knife made by Craig Steketee. Adam has since left, I believe it is only Craig making their knives now. There are not many knifemakers doing these type of composite blades due to the intensive labor required.

blade: 8.375"
OAL 13"
Handle: Desert Ironwood with mosaic pins
Custom leather sheath included

$700 $645 $625 $595 $577 including shipping. Pls send PM if interested, thanks!

More pics and detailed information added; I apologize for the color of the pictures, they were taken indoors under artificial lighting, hence the un-natural color rendering.

The blade is just under 2" at the heel, and 5/32" (4mm) thick in front of the handle. There is a slight distal taper but not very dramatic, see the spine photo. The blade feels light in the hand, not heavy at all. The sheath is pretty simple, pic is attached.

More pics added this morning taken outdoors.....the color still looks a bit weird to me, maybe because it's really cloudy. There is one more thing I need to make people aware of. The desert ironwood on the handle scales is cross cut to take best advantage of the natural wood color variations and produce a more dramatic appearance. On the handle scales there is some checking where the wood has been cut across the grain. For me personally it is not an issue because I consider it part of the natural wood material, similar to ivory or horn. I consider the knife a work of art and appreciate it for the beauty of the materials and workmanship. For cutting trees in my back yard I use a machete. If this is an issue, most custom knifemakers will back up their work and fix or replace anything needed if a problem develops. Say for example, if you live in a very dry climate and years from now the wood develops more checking, I'm sure Craig Steketee would make it good at no or very reasonable cost.
