Modified random pattern 1084/15N20
Forged "S" guard (conveyor chain twisted with nickel)
Fluted ferrule, same material as guard
Quilted African blackwood
Handle pin turned from a bit of my good friend Bruce Bump's damascus :)

What do you think?

Thanks :)
Nick

Oh Man the pattern in that guard just blows me away! Nick that's one mean fighter; your handle is fantastic, just what that great blade needs. I also see another you've posted... When do you sleep and take care of your social requirements? :D

I'd like to get a look at Stella!

If you gotta have a knife like that to fight her she must be one heck of a woman:eek:

Nick...that piece is gorgeous!
your work is breath taking brother...
talk about raising the bar!:D  keep it up dude!

Is this the same Nick Wheeler who wasn't quite sure how his work measured up a couple years ago?

You are taking knifemaking to a whole new level!

Great work, as always, Nick.

Thanks guys :)

I've still got a lot to learn, but I'm working at it.

Dave, I was just talking with Bill the other day about how I hadn't seen you in a loooong time. Of course you're welcome to come down!

Stella is a small town on the way to the beach from here, that for whatever reason I kept thinking of when I looked at this knife (and we gotta' name them for BladeGallery) ;)

Thanks!!!
Nick

I was hoping that it had something to do with "A streetcar named Desire" Just viewing this knife made me want to fall to my knees and cry out "STELLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"
This is one beautiful knife. Keep up the phenomenal work!
