Stencil developing

A while back when discussing Stencil developing someone mentioned using a pool ph chemical for developing . I can't remember the name or formula.

What does everybody use to develop their stencils. remove the resit.

I'd like to bring this back up for further help.

I have one of the super etch-o-matics, all the supplies including
blank stencils.

Instead of purchasing this "stencil making box" has anyone made their own box for transferring from transparency to stencil?
I don't want to shell out almost $200 if it's something like a UV light box.
Anyone know?

What can I use for a developer fluid? Would this be anything like photographers use?
