Stephan Fowler Knife (Help name it)

Wow your right Stephan there are some real good names here. Maybe a passaround will need to be done to help name it.

Ron Hood said on his forum, "Call it the I want one".

here's a quick compilation of some of the suggestions that appeal to me.

Lil' Ruffian
Stone Mtn
S.O. - Significant Other

Thoughts anyone?

BTW- This will come down to a vote, and someone is gonna get a prize. But we gotta come up with some nominee's first.

S.O.? Not so much.

Stone Mountain - I like it but lets not call it quits yet.

Lil' Ruffian? - I think something along those lines might work. How about:

Bully
Menace
or Firebrand

Or something like:

The Fowler Constant
Stalwart
Dauntless

nice,

Firebrand and Constant have some potential.

I'm still very open to options, my plan is to pull my favorites on Monday (Memorial day) and setup a Poll

How about naming it........

TARMIX WANTS ONE OF YOUR KNIVES SO YOU'RE GOING TO JUST GIVE IT TO ME FOR BEING SO DAMN SMART!!!!!!!

No?????????????

OK I'm sticking with "Stone Mountain Belt Knife"or "S.M. Camp knife".

It just has a good ring to it IMO.

A little knife shakespeare:D

'Tis but thy name that is my enemy;
Thou art thyself, though not a Name.
What's a name? it is nor handle, nor blade,
Nor hilt, nor edge, nor any other part
Belonging to a knife. O, be some other name!
What's in a name? that which we call a knife
By any other knife would be as sharp;
So name would, were he not name call'd,
Retain that dear perfection which he owes
Without that title. Knife, doff thy name,
And for that name which is no part of thee
Take all myself.

Translation; Call it what ever the hell you want to call it, I would love to call it mine:thumbup::D

I really like that knife! Don't know how this popped into my head, but how about the Fowler "Old Yeller"?

I really like the name Steadfast but Gerber already has one.

Becker has a Campanion as well.

There was a Kamp-King pocket knife by Imperial IIRC.

Those are the only three that I know of that have been used before.

I think the Becker is just Companion isn't it? Not playing on the word "camp"?

And boo on Gerber already using Steadfast because I liked that one too. Especially since this guy would likely cut the gerber in half :)

Thanks for the info

The Cherokee were big in that area. Either the English or Cherokee of these would be cool

danitaga - Blood Brother
atsisvti - Fire Maker
agateno - Tracker
anitsisqua - Bird Clan (since it is a FOWLer, afterall)
enisi - Grand Father
ada ehi - Woods Dweller
kanati - Hunter
hayelasdi - Knife

It's Campanion....I have 2 of them. :)

The word Stalwart that someone posted here has an old-fashioned, tough, and ready ring to it!
