Howdy! I'm Matt and I've been messing around with knves ever since a motorcycle accident took me out of the game. I've done quite a few modifications on existing knives and decided it was time to take it further. Up to now everything has been done with a 4x36, a 1x30, an angle grinder, torch and files.
Now its time to up my game so I'm building a 2x72. I ordered the wheels, the platen, rotary platen and pulleys. Everything else is coming together in my garage, using the aforementioned tools, LOL. I'm very excited to get this thing up and running. Looking forward to reading all the stickies for newbies!
Thanks!

Here are some of the things I've done:

I have had a lot of fun modifying Ontario machete's. And this one below was the first ever work someone actually commissioned(and paid!) me to build.

Nice looking stuff, bud!
I have seen a bit of your knives in the Becker knife making and modding thread, good to see you are moving forward.

What are you using as a plan for your build?

Thanks Bill!!! I'm not using any plans. Just going off of pictures that I've seen. I have a pretty good "eyecrometer"

Good to hear it, I will be following this with much interest.

Good luck!
