Sterile 3.5

I didn't have any Flitz but a little dried up fish blood, soap and water took the flag logo right off. I will have to catch some more fish to clean the other logo off. Lol! Still love the knife!

 
It seems that any mild abrasive will do the trick. Does not take much, good luck with the fishin!
 
Flitz is not much different than regular toothpaste. Plain old white toothpaste. Plain Colgate works well. I've used it for years to polish feed ramps on semi-auto pistols.

Side note - When using the GSO series for fishing ( I use my 3.5 in 20CV), toothpaste works well to get the smell off of your hands and clean the scales of the knife (use like hand cleaner and rub well for a few minutes, rinse and done).
 
I've stropped w/toothpaste. I'll have give it a try as a hand cleaner. Will it remove grease?Thanks

Not sure about the grease. I was speaking more about the smell of the fish when using it to clean hands. I clean my GSO 3.5 with it as well after cleaning fish or cutting bait.

We were not able to get the logos off with what we had in the shop. We will pick up some Flitz and make sure we can recreate what you did here. If so, we will be happy to clean off some of those GSO-3.5s with the light engraving and then hit them with our engraver. I will post back once we know for sure.

Any news on the results at the Headquarters? Was some Flitz of fish blood acquired?
