Sterile Blade Spartan Harsey 3.25?

I just received a new Spartan Harsey 3.25 and to my surprise the blade isn't signed. I've googled and can't find any pics of a sterile blade Harsey 3.25, did I get something special that slipped through QC?

Yes, I sent an email to them, but since it's Saturday I figure they won't respond until next week. I was just curious if anyone else had seen this.
 
Where did you get it?
Maybe it's the picture, but the screws on the sterile one don't look as crisp
 
I'm sure the AD/ Spartan will take care of it, but I'm thinking if it just slipped through and the heat treat is good it might be cool to keep it.
 
Judging from the open, grainy pattern on the spine of the sterile blade, I wonder if that’s a blade that didn’t pass QC and got assembled by mistake.

Anyway, I’ve heard great things about Spartan support, so I’m sure they’ll take care of you.

That's a good point and makes sense. Maybe they'll give me a big discount and let me keep it! 😁
 
Spartan mislabeled a few dozen Harsey folders last year or earlier this year and still sold them. They denoted the mistake with an asterisk on the blade. So I’d say yours is just a mistake. Spartan has excellent cs in my experience.

What was the mislabeled mistake and where was the asterisk? My understanding is that the Harsey 3.25 has only been available with S45VN and Damascus blades. I got my first Spartan last week and was so impressed I bought a duplicate, that's how I ended up with this one.
 
It may have been the full size version but they marked the blades as S35vn instead of S45vn. Instead of scrapping all of them they added the asterisk and a piece of paper stating the error. I’ll try to find it and link it for you. I’m just saying they’ve made mistakes before when it comes to blade markings
