Sir:

These are very nice items, for the most part, and I am interested, definitely. The clasp and the buckle look plated, rather than solid silver... is that correct? What about the chain? Plated or solid?

However, I think you should be aware (sorry), while all your coins are nice, and decent collectors items, the nickels are not silver at all. The ONLY years that nickels had silver content was from 1942-1945, at which point they were 56% copper/35% silver/9% manganese. Buffalo nickels, in contrast, are 75% copper/25% nickel, and all your other nickels are also 75% copper/25% nickel. Your dimes, on the other hand, ARE about 90% silver.

Other than that, nice collection of silver!

I'll swap you a 1950s or early 60s Ben Franklin half dollar for the necklace.

Shoot me an E-mail if you are interested.

Thanks,

Don

The buckle and chain are silver; my mistake onthe coins. Everything is silver and marked as so.

This may not be what you'd like for your silver, but I can offer $50 for the lot (I don't have any of the gear you'd like)

And Don - if he doesn't want your coin, I can offer you $8 for it.

I am trying to get some silver for inlays, but it's hard to find any :( Lol...
