The only way anyone is going to hear from Steve Corkum if they have a knife business and he contacts them about an order (a real bad idea to send him any money in advance of delivery), or if they go to his house and catch him in.
I have always said that Steve Corkum has an immense amount of talent. It`s just that he has taken a different road, and left his customers and dealers behind. If the man had the smallest care in the world, he try to begin to make things right, however I never see this taking place. You have to have a conscience to care about yourself as well as your family. It is a shame that I can never count on Steve again.

This is the last major thread on him: Steve Corkum does not deliver on paid orders
he does make a helluva nice japanese style tanto fixed blade i must say the one specimen of his i examined was top notch, of course i would never buy anything from him though too many hassles, ya cant even send it in for work without wondering if ya would ever see it again, thankfully he aint the only smith around who does good work in that style imho, plenty of good decent hard working honest smiths who will bend over backwards to make ya happy, too many to ever have to deal with untrustworthy individuals like corkum, tac knives should be ashamed for pluggin him in past issues.
