Here's another one I never expected to sell, but, well, you all know how that goes.
I have seen a couple of similar Dunn engraved stag hunters in the last year or 2, I always felt this was the best looking of them, but of course that's always a matter of taste, which varies.
Knife is dead mint, unused, uncarried, in a Bill's case, fit and finish are as good as it gets IMO.
The blade is 4 1/8", and a gorgeous, very intricate and dramatic pattern you don't generally see on Steve's knives. It is as sharp as a blade can be. The stainless guard is adorned with Steve's masterful gold inlayed engraving, a very tasteful and elegant scroll pattern with lots of 24k inlay work. The handle pins are also fully engraved, and they are perfectly flush with the stag.
The stag is about as good as it gets, and you cannot feel the seam where the 2 halves join, it's that good, the fit of blade to guard is perfect.
I believe there is currently a similar one on a website for $1650, I like mine more, but it's the same model.
I paid $1650 when I bought it new from KA a few years ago, the stag BTW shows zero shrinkage/mvt, it's totally stable.
I will sell the knife, with the Bill's custom zipper case, for $1495 including insured, overnight shipping.
PayPal OK with no added fees, Postal MO good too, checks need to clear prior to shipping.
First to say they'll take it gets it.
Thanks for looking, if you have any questions, please email me at:
