Hey guys, this is a very special piece. I asked Steve to make me a Take-Down Fighter just like the one he built for his Take-Down seminar at Blade West 2008. That knife was featured in Blade magazine in March 2009. The knife features fossil walrus jaw bone handles, damascus guard and spacer, and 5160 forged blade. This knife is brand new, never used or carried, and is one of the nicest combinations of materials I've seen on a knife. Not to mention that it's a take-down, which is pretty cool. Details below, thanks

Steve Kelly, A.B.S., J.S.

The knife measures 13.25" overall, with a 7.75" blade. The blade is 5160, the guard and sub-hilt are damascus, the spacers are ironwood and nickel silver, and the handle frame is 5160. The handle slabs are stabilized fossil walrus jaw bone, the pins are all 416 stainless, the screws are gold plate and the tang nut is brass.

It comes with a handmade oak tanned leather sheath made by Steve and the Certificate of Authenticity. $1250 --> $1125 --> $1150 --> $1100 --> $1050 --> $1025 --> $1000!! -->$985 shipped insured!!

Thanks. The space between the guard and the subguard is 3/4". Plenty of room for my finger, and holds it nicely.

Any chance you are going to Blade and could bring the knife with you?

$1100!! I know it's tough to sell a nice custom knife the weeks before Blade, but c'mon guys, this thing is a BEAUTY!!
