What is the steel on the rhino? Is it ground on one side like others I've seen?

Not sure of the steel, but yes, chisel ground on one side.

Thank you for the answer. Unfortunately, my sense of symmetry cant handle those grinds - it makes me miss out on a whole world of knives.

Most likely the steel is sv30, seems what Steve uses mostly, he does use 3v as well so it depends how old it is.
