My god the plot thickens!!! Just had a look on Darrel Ralphs site and I really like the static madd maxx (micro- 3in blade). 
I think I'll probably go with that, but I want everyone who answered this thread to know I am very grateful for all the info and pictures. All I can say is thank God for bladeforums. With out it finding out about different makers would be near impossible and I'd still be buying rubbish down at my local "knife shop" (if thats what you can call it!!!! Sorry, I digress.
