Blade: Damascus steel, overall length is about 6 with a 2 1/2 " blade, closed length is about 3 1/2" The knife is signed and dated with month and year I made it.
The fileworked damascus blade is from damascus forged by Craig Barr, and the fileworked damascus backspacer and mosaic damascus bolsters were cut and shaped from Chad Nichols damascus billets. It is shaped and surface ground to 220 grit, 2 flat ground bevels grinds, hand sanded at 220, 400, 600 and 1200 grit before heat treating and fast oil quench. Then resanded and buffed before acid etching. It is heat treated and tempered to a Rockwell 55 to 58.
Handle: Scales are ancient mammoth ivory. These scales have been sanded to a 1200 grit and buffed to a smooth finish. There are natural color variations in the ivory. The scale are held to the goldish colored anodized titanium liners via fileworked screws. The liners are also fileworked. n There is a double thumbstud with synthetic fascitis rubies on each side

Guarantee: As the maker of the knife I guarantee this knife against workmanship defects. Abuse and neglect are not covered.
